The project contract was signed on 19.07.2017, with the Ministry of Youth and Sports as the client. Designed as a semi-enclosed facility, the project includes a 15,000-seat grandstand, VIP tribune, private suites, and underground parking areas. The scope of the project covers reinforced concrete and diagonal steel structures, architectural and finishing works, electrical and mechanical installations, infrastructure and landscaping works, vehicle parking areas, and road construction.

The new city stadium has been designed in harmony with the official colors of Karaman Spor—red and white. Considering the harsh climatic conditions of Karaman, a radiant heating system has been installed in the grandstands to ensure spectator comfort during winter matches. Additionally, a heated natural grass field has been implemented to allow matches to be played even in snowy conditions. Built in compliance with UEFA standards, the stadium features a 241-seat VIP tribune, 25 private suites, 2 separate VIP hospitality lounges, a 155-seat press tribune, a 100-seat conference hall, a cafeteria, and a total parking capacity of 500 vehicles, including both open and covered spaces.
