The Turkey National Botanical Garden project, recognized as the largest botanical garden in Turkey and the second largest in Europe, spans approximately 2 million square meters in Üniversiteler Mahallesi. The project site includes an entrance and visitor center, gathering areas, thematic greenhouses, an event center, children's play and education areas, food and beverage facilities, an event meadow, a grass amphitheater, picnic areas, small and large ponds, wetlands, an endemic plant research and development center, public transportation stops and bridges, plant collections, and landscaped areas.

It is approximately 10 km from Ankara city center. The National Botanical Garden of Turkey, located at a distance of 9.km. It is an area of ​​approximately 200 hectares in the Universities Quarter. Project area structures-regions (entrance and visitor center, assembly area, thematic greenhouses, activity focus, children's playground and education area, food and beverage area, activity meadow, grass amphitheater, picnic area, small and large ponds, wetlands, endemic plants research and development center, public transport stops and bridges) and gardens. The building, which was designed as the Entrance Stage of the project, was then allocated to the General Directorate of Agricultural Research and Policies.
