The Harmantepe Natural Gas Compressor Station project, which commenced on December 1, 2011, was completed on February 28, 2014. The project scope included 4 natural gas compressor stations, 2 six-story staff residences, 2 main security buildings, a guesthouse, cafeteria, control and maintenance building, gas skid building, generator building, heating plant, enclosed garage and vehicle passage roads.

As a crucial component of the NABUCCO Project, which transports natural gas from the Caspian and Middle East to Europe, this station plays a key role in enhancing the efficiency and security of the existing natural gas network. By regulating the gas flow and increasing transmission capacity, the facility ensures a more stable and reliable gas supply. The station, with a gas compression capacity of 2 million m³ per hour, has been built over a 52,000 m² site.
